Purposes and legal bases.

  • Administrative, tax and legal obligations: compliance with legal obligations.
  • Website security, fraud prevention and defence of legal claims: our legitimate interest.
  • Newsletter and promotional communications: your consent, or our legitimate interest where the law allows it for existing customers. You can opt out at any time.
  • Statistics and marketing cookies, personalised advertising and embedded videos: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie Policy page.

Required information. Fields marked as required in our forms are needed to handle your request. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to respond. Providing data for marketing is optional.

Retention. We keep data from requests and accounts for as long as needed to manage the relationship, and then for the period required by law. Accounting and tax records are kept for up to 10 years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie durations are listed in the Cookie Policy.

Recipients. Data may be processed by providers acting on our behalf or as independent controllers, including website hosting and e-commerce (Shopify), form, login and quote applications, email services, statistics and advertising services (Google, Meta) and video services (YouTube), as well as professional advisers.

Automated decisions. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. With your consent, advertising services may use your data to show you more relevant advertising.

Your rights. You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@formitalia.it. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or with your local authority.
